This lawn will never be sodden again. The existing clay was poor-draining, which resulted in much of the garden being unusable after the winter months, and even in the summer after heavy rain.
We had a lot of the Moe’s Landscaping team involved with this project to complete the work as quickly as possible, with minimal disruption to our client. The first task was to remove the existing grass and eight inches of clay. We then combined stone and sand to ensure effective draining, then added a later of top soil for the turf to grow into.
This lawn looks incredible and is lush, level, and ready for the rest of the summer.
A much different project – underlining the diversity of Moe’s Group – is this new picket fence. Conifer hedges can be difficult to maintain, so our client contacted us to remove the hedge and replace it with a near maintenance-free solution, besides using a wood preserver on an annual basis (depending on the product used).
The old hedge was quickly removed by Moe’s Arborists and given the curvature of the boundary, the new fence was fully custom. Multiple posts were installed securely around the corner to create the curve, which also added strength. The end result is a smart fence that adds a little rustic style to the property and clearly defines the boundary.
